How StrandScribe works
From a reel in your direct messages to an article under your name, step by step.
Connect your Instagram
Sign in with Google, then send the one-time code from your dashboard to @strandscribe.bot. That links your Instagram account, so the reels you share reach your inbox and no one else’s.
Share a reel
Send a reel to @strandscribe.bot as a direct message, or paste its link in your inbox. Its speech and the text shown on screen are read and its checkable claims are listed in a brief. Photo posts are not read. Some reels cannot be read, for example when the account limits sharing outside Instagram; the inbox tells you when that happens.
Find sources
Press Find sources. Each claim is searched on the web and in public reference and research indexes, every page is read, and a source is kept only when its passage is found word for word on the page.
Choose an angle and a format
Pick one of the suggested angles, or none, and a format: news article, feature, evidence review, or opinion piece, or a newsletter issue, LinkedIn post, thread, or caption from the same sources. Each combination keeps its own piece. Under Voice you can have it written in the house style or in a voice learned from your own writing.
Edit
The draft cites its sources by number and never mentions the reel. Edit it freely; every save is kept as a version. Add a title image from Unsplash if you want one.
Post or export
Connect DEV Community, Hashnode, Ghost, or WordPress under Platforms and post as a private draft or live. Schedule it for later and see everything on the calendar. Or download the Markdown and take it anywhere.
Or let Autopilot do it
Turn on Autopilot and each reel you share is researched and written without you opening the site, saved as a draft or published, as you choose. If no trustworthy source is found, nothing is written and the brief waits for you.
